Mirror Scene

We continued on filming using the white screen. For this particular scene the shooting was difficult. This is because it was a struggle for myself not to be in due to the mirror reflection and to not include the black border of the white screen, or Niamh's face to keep her identity a secret. This however resolved after a few attempts and moving the set around. The setup for the mirror was slightly complex, as we needed a white screen for both sides. Finding one from our art department, we managed to have two each side. Also, since the "vanity" the mirror was resting up on had to tie in with the white, we used white paper to make it match.

Then Niamh, our actress, would finish of the writing the protagonists name and walk out of frame. Kelly wrote the majority of the protagonists name, as decided through the font test. As mentioned before, the camera positioning was important. Using a steady cam, we followed Niamh's movements carefully, then tracking slightly on the mirror to get a clear view of 'Gal Gadot'. With this sequence came many risk, such as the mirror falling down (which happened a few times) and equipment being knocked over, due to the sheer amount around us. Thankfully, this never happened with enough care.
