Production Log

                                           
Where: Media department.
Who: Me, Kelly, Maddie H and Niamh.
Equipment: DSLR, lipstick, stuido lights(x2), mirror, tripod and white screen.
Purpose: Mirror sequence.
Duration: 2 hours.

for this session we aimed to film the mirror scene, where our protagonist write the actress' name on the mirror, which will appear as a part of the credits. It was difficult to frame the mirror to have none of us apart from Niamh in the scene, this ate up a lot of our time. We also had Kelly practice writing on the mirror, so it looked clear and bold for the credits. This is because she had the nicest handwriting, which looked very elegant - however, Niamh struggled to write the same way so we just had her finish the last letter.

We had to position the camera awkwardly to make sure we captured what we wanted, not interfering with the wires all across the floor - which was a small health risk; as one of us could have fell. We had to prop up the mirror(using boxes), which could have fell a couple times if we weren't careful. This happened once, but as we were all close by we stopped it from falling on the ground.
